Reflection:

In a time when many of us are struggling towards a fresh vision for the day and for the days ahead, take some time to dwell on the words of this verse.

Sometimes when we sing familiar words in familiar settings we gloss over the depths. (*Of course you can still sing it today if you like!)

Taking more time to slow down with great hymn writing can be a wonderful source of spiritual insight and inspiration:

Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;

Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art;

Thou my best thought, by day or by night;

Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
