C-19 Reflection #21: Midday Prayer

C-19 Resource (#21)

Midday Prayer

~

We draw aside at the heart of the day

To seek your face and watch and pray

Refresh us, O Lord, and close to us stay

When we leave here and go our way.

As with manna you fed your fleeing folk

Like much-needed rain on the parched,

dry ground

Refresh us now as your name we invoke

Come like dew, in power, on us.
